| Fire Chief Bruce Southard 401 |
Chief Southard joined the Rolla Rural Fire
Protection District in 1976. He became a very
devoted, professional firefighter and worked his
way through the ranks. He is a skilled rescue
swimmer, diver and fire investigator. After
becoming fire chief in 1999, Southard has
achieved many accomplishments in improving
the department. These include two new stations
and several new apparatus.
Years on Department: 34
