NUMBERING SYSTEM
Each apparatus of the Rolla Rural Fire Protection District is assigned a number, by using a format that identifies what type of
apparatus it is. This format is used by many fire departments in the region, making mutual aid department's apparatus easy to
identify and assign tasks.
The format consists of 4-digits. The FIRST and SECOND digits identifies what department operates the unit. The THIRD digit
represents what station number the unit primarily responds from. (It can also identify if the unit is a reserve/non-primary unit.)
The FOURTH digit identifies what type of apparatus it is.
